springkink: Kingdom Hearts II, Sephiroth/Jasmine: Chance meetings - "I see the darkness in your eyes."
Shadows Within.
The sword she was practicing with hits against his, and Jasmine isn't strong enough yet to keep her hold on it.
“Who are you?” She demands to the tall, silver haired man, glaring at him. When he looks at her, his eyes almost seem to shine and Jasmine does her best not to look away, towards where her sword landed.
“I expected someone else, when I followed this trail” the man mutters, an amused tilt to his lips that reminds Jasmine, for a second, of Jafar. “Such darkness in your eyes.”
“Go away,” Jasmine says, pressing as much strength in her voice as she's able too, even as the man wraps a hand around her neck and presses her against a wall.
He's so tall she feels tiny, and the way he's holding her means she has to be on her tiptoes to avoid chocking. She keeps on glaring despite it all, and somehow, that seems to make the man's eyes shine even more, two seconds before he lets her go.
“Goodbye then, princess.”
Jasmine wonders how he can make that sound as an insult, as she looks at the darkness swallow him whole.
