Base fanboy reaction over with! I like this very much. It's a sweet, sad illustration of the sorts of things Fakir is willing to do or sacrifice (in this case, putting up with a few hours of emasculation a week) because he believes they're for Mytho's own good.
The level of attraction and confliction seems quite appropriate, as does Fakir's general awkwardness. He's totally eleven in this, awkward, and angsty but not yet self-loathing about all this.
