I'm not sure what to say about this one, really...it's lovely? Very in-character of Autor to not tell Fakir of his feelings but just hang back and get what he can.
Autor writing or playing songs for Rue is a common theme, but a good one, I think, and in character for Autor. And I love how you finished the fic off with him--the last three lines in particular are very powerful.
