I really like the natural progression of things, here. It's so factual and stunningly obvious, and yet, in the aftermath, so terribly confusing. The fact that things just happen. The fact that sometimes things happen for a reason, even if you don't know what it is until later. Lavi is a man who likes to know everything and to be comfortable knowing that he has a handle on all of it, but handling Allen in this sort of way... he doesn't know and he's not in control. Must be frightening. Thrilling, but scaring the hell out of him.
